Appolinaire.K.Zagabe Profile and work

  • Mr. Appolinaire Zagabe Kamanyula , is a  Congolese technocrat who campaigns for Peace, Climate Justice and the New Climate change Economy for the DRC.

    A man integrated by his wisdom, his know-how and his diplomacy without borders, Mr ZAGABE is a very visible and active Congolese in the framework of defending the interests of his Country, the Democratic Republic of Congo at all levels by his international lobbying for the return of Peace in the DRC at the United Nations platforms but also with the different European governments, but also an essential expert on environmental issues, climate change .

    Mr. Zagabe Appolinaire holds a Master’s Degree in Public International Law (Kampala International University ), Certified Social Worker by the University of Michigan in the USA, and Expert on Leadership in Climate Governance, Diplomacy and Negotiations within the African Negotiators Group with several awards in Universities such as Best Diplomat and Negotiator by the University College Utrecht (Netherlands), Best Delegate  at ROMUN-Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy, University of LEUVEN (Belgium).

Founder and President of the DRC Climate Change Network, a platform bringing together more than 200 local, national and indigenous organizations in the DRC, of which the RCCRDC Network  the focal point and coordination of the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance ( PACJA)

He is a member of the Board of Directors of EquaL Right, a British based Nonprofit for climate Justice , Founder of PEPA/NGOs ( Pleaders of Children and Elderly at Risk), an organization that operates in several countries such as the DRC, USA and Germany.

Mr. Appolinaire Zagabe is an expert in Peace and Conflict resolution, a researcher  , instrumental in the International Sphere, United Nations Negotiations and has availed various publication on the Peace and conflict Resolution in the Democratic Republic of Congo and in the Great Lake Region,
